Warmest Winter Hat

Warmest Winter Hat

This unisex style is suitable for any teen or adult who needs a really, really, warm hat, warm enough to survive even winters in Winnipeg, Canada… think minus 30-40 degrees Celsius for weeks and months on end.. and that is      without the wind chill. Really.

I had a hat much like this one years ago and decided to re-create it. Made in one piece from innercrown to outer crown, then the beginning and ends are stitched together. The upper part of your head is snug under 2 layers of wool, and the head-band portion that covers your ears is double, double thick, with 4 layers for warmth and wind resistance,  toasty!  Instructions are also included for a thinner version, that is,  one layer over the crown and two over the ears.

A simple knit with classic lines,  this is one gift that will be most appreciated. Knit, and gift, with joy!
